A Day of Adventure

     

Today we’re taking a little break from the glitz & glamour that’s usually the focus on this blog! This past weekend was spent relaxing & recuperating from the first month of school craziness. It was so nice do have a couple of days to myself & take a break from doing what seems like a thousand times at once. Sometimes you just need to take a little break, you feel? Even though I enjoyed a nice & relaxing weekend, cheers to the new week! I’m excited to hit the ground running again now that I’m all refreshed. 🙂

Back to this past weekend- my boyfriend (if you haven’t checked out his photography site you totally should, he takes all my pics, plus he’s the sweetest guy ever) & I spent all of Saturday adventuring around College Station and some neighboring cities. There’s not much to do in the city of College Station, so we’re always looking for things to do nearby. One of our favorite spots in the area is Sugarloaf Mountain. We’ve only been once before, and it was such a breathtaking view. We’d been dying to visit again since, but didn’t get an opportunity to until Saturday!

We just spent a good part of the day hiking around & getting lost. Needless to say, it was an afternoon of gorgeous views & cardio that was fun– yes, there is such thing!
