Hey guys, it’s Akash! I take pretty much all of Summer’s photos and I also do some freelance work on the side. Summer asked me to answer a few of the questions a lot of you guys have asked about what kind of camera and lens we use, why, etc. So today’s post is going be all about the fun stuff behind the scenes: everything you need to know about what camera gear I use for blogging!
After the last time I did a professional attire post, I got a ton of requests to keep the series going. I fully intended to, but I just didn’t have many occasions to style looks for, so I didn’t have any pieces to work with! Nonetheless, I’m “back to business” with some more business-appropriate looks… starting with this one that I’ll definitely be wearing all the time!
This post is sponsored by Banana Republic. As always, all opinions are my own. Thank you so much for supporting the brands that make WLS possible!
In the spirit of PSL’s and sweater weather, I’m partnering with Banana Republic today to share my ultimate fall fave for this season: ponchos!!! Last week I shared a post all about transitioning into fall, but since Friday marked the first official day of the season, we’re diving right in! I’ve never really been a poncho person, but I’ve been seeing them everywhere this season so I had to jump on the bandwagon. This one from BR is so cozy & warm- definitely going to be wearing to football games when it gets chillier!
Being that today marks the official first day of fall, I thought it would be the perfect day for this post. I’m partnering with Fossil to share with y’all all the fall firsts I’m looking forward to this season. Plus, keep reading to find out all the deets about this gorgeous rose gold watch!
Over the past month or so, I’ve been really trying to get back into reading. No, not on a Kindle, or through an audiobook, but with real life, filled-with paper books. Crazy, I know. Jokes aside, I’ve actually really been loving it! Growing up, I was always a huge reader. I guess with the rise of something called Netflix, I stopped reading books at some point. It all started when I was leaving for the cruise. I wanted something to entertain me while I was at sea possibly without internet, so that I could enjoy some peace and quiet by the ocean. Once I started reading, I couldn’t stop. For the past month, I’ve zoomed through probably 20 or so books. Without further ado, here are my picks for some great books for twenty something women!
