Oh boy, it’s that time of year again! I’ve told y’all this before, but honestly I used to LOVE back to school season. I know everyone dreads it, but I personally loved the vibe in the air at the beginning of every school year. You get to see that cute boy you like (and hope he’s in at least a couple of your classes,) see all your friends that you didn’t hang out with over the summer, and (the best part) back to school shopping! It’s basically Christmas.
I’m so excited to be partnering with H&M to share with y’all a couple looks that I’ll be wearing this fall, that would be perfect for back to school. Whether you’re heading to college, high school, or even if you’re already in the workforce, these looks are perfect for any occasion!
Who doesn’t love athleisure? It’s cute, but most of all comfortable. I remember back when I was in college, comfort was the #1 thing I cared about when picking out my outfit. If it didn’t have a comfy waistband, I didn’t want it. This first outfit is so perfect for sitting in class and hanging out with friends at lunch. When you get warm, just throw the windbreaker around your waist, and it’s basically an extra accessory!
Forget dogs and diamonds – denim jackets are a girl’s best friend! You can ask all my friends & coworkers; I always have a denim jacket handy. I love how simple this look is – a pair of easy (again, comfy… see a trend yet?) shorts, a graphic tee, white sneakers, and a denim jacket to pull it all together. What’s not to love?
This look might be my favorite of them all! I love a good jumpsuit. This olive green is perfect for fall, and I love how fun this backpack is. Whether you’re going to school, or just hanging out with friends, this backpack is the perfect accessory. I love styling it with the denim jacket, and just throwing on some white sneakers for the perfect on-the-go look. We’re heading on a trip in a couple weeks too, and I think this’ll be perfect to go sightseeing in!
Last but not least, I love this look for transitioning into fall! Growing up in Texas, back to school season meant walking to school every day in 90 degree heat. The thing is, though, once you get to school, it’s always freezing. I love how with this look you can wear the dress on its own, and throw on a denim jacket when you get cold. Also how cute is this transparent bag?! Obsessed with all things transparent right now, and I think this would be so cute for any trips y’all have coming up too.
