Y’all know I love trying out new products and adding new finds into my skin routine. For the past month, I’ve been trying out a new skincare brand and I’m so excited to be sharing it with y’all!
First things first: before even trying out the products, I did a little bit of homework into the brand. I absolutely love how the Advanced Clinicals line was developed by chemists who set out to create actually effective formulations, at attainable prices. Nowadays, prices for skincare products have skyrocketed, and it frustrates me that sometimes when readers ask me for affordable suggestions I don’t always have a ton of recommendations. Every single product they carry is under $15 – how crazy!
The first product I got to try out is the Power Quad Mask Set. Last week, a few girlfriends came over to do a Bachelorette night. We tried out the masks, and it was perfect because each of us all had different skin types and concerns. For me, my skin gets pretty dry in certain areas, but then in some areas (mainly my T-zone) it tends to get pretty oily. My favorites of the set are the Vitamin C Exfoliating Mud Mask and the Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Mask. I’ve read that both of these ingredients are amazing for your skin. The Hyaluronic mask made my skin look so glowy – I think it would be an amazing mask to use before a big event. One of my friends is currently all about collagen, and she’s now obsessed with the Collagen Anti-Aging mask. One of my favorite parts about the masks is that they’re not overly scented – sometimes I’ll use a mask, and I end up having to take it off because it smells so strong. Not these!
I’ve been using the Vitamin C Anti-Aging Serum after my toner, and before my moisturizer at night, and it makes your skin feel instantly hydrated. It also smells amazing!
Akash & I love to do at-home pedicures every once in a while, and last week when we did our little at-home spa, I tried out the Cracked Heel Rough Spot Cream on him. It left his heels so soft and moisturized! Our heels go through a lot, and why shouldn’t they get just as much attention as the rest of our skin gets??
