Living Room Reveal

Living Room Reveal

It’s been over a month since we moved into the new apartment, but honestly I feel like it’s only been a few days! I guess that’s what traveling and a crazy work schedule does to you. Lately I’ve had so many questions on when I’d be revealing the new apartment, but I’m excited to share that I’m officially starting to share the apartment, room by room! We’re kicking it off with the living room first.

The weekend we shot these photos, I was actually dog-sitting  Webster, my friend Brittany’s pup. (Isn’t he just the cutest?) Since we had the most IG-friendly dog with us, I figured I’d bring him in for a couple shots!

Allswell Home was a huge help in decorating the living room, and you’ll see a bunch of fun pieces from them in this post. If you’re thinking of redecorating, or just needing some new home goods, they’re an awesome place to check out. They also have a ton of stuff that I have in my apartment on sale now, so if you see anything you like, make sure to go snag it! You can see in some of these photos that we switch up the pillows all the time, depending on what I’m feeling. I love mixing decor from different brands to create a look I love!

I’m also attaching a couple photos below that share how you can style the Allswell pillows with some from other brands to switch it up.

All the decorative pillows and this throw are from Allswell Home. I love how cozy they are, and how they really tie the room together. I’ve always loved having mostly neutrals for my decor, and throwing in pops of color as the seasons change. As I was decorating the apartment, it was important to me that I made it as gender-neutral as possible, so Akash felt like it was his home too. Of course I had to sneak a little bit of pink in, but at least it’s not too obnoxious.

Above the couch, I knew I wanted to put up some art. When we were at Ikea, I found these fun frames that I thought would be perfect right above the couch. I ended up printing out a couple prints of beaches, and I really like how it turned out. Since we put up the frames with Command strips, they’ll be easy to switch out whenever I get tired of the art hanging in there right now.

All the furniture in our apartment is from Fernish! Fernish is one of my all-time favorite furniture companies, and I love what they’re doing. Basically it’s a company where you can rent furniture, and swap it out at any time. It’s perfect for millennials & Gen Z’ers who move all the time, and aren’t ready to settle down yet. They come and assemble everything for you, and are just the kindest people. Plus, they have the best selection of furniture. If you’re in either LA or Seattle, check them out and tell them I sent you! I’m planning a whole post on Fernish, so stay tuned for that if y’all are interested.
