It’s already March- can y’all believe it?! The beginning of the year has absolutely flown by! Spring is always associated with detoxing for me. After a long winter of cold weather and staying in, I’m always so ready to get refreshed. Today I’m so excited to be partnering with Bioré to share with y’all my spring skin detox routine, featuring two of my newest favorite products from their Blue Agave & Baking Soda line!

As a quick disclaimer, I do want to let y’all know that my skin type is combination. These products work great for me, but you might want to make sure that they’re a good fit for your skin before trying them out!

On my “self care nights,” where I actually have time to relax and put on a mask, I start with the Bioré Blue Agave & Baking Soda Balancing Pore Cleanser. I love how this cleanser makes my skin feel after using it! Sometimes cleansers can be really harsh, and make your skin feel extremely tight afterwards. This one doesn’t do that, so it’s an A+ in my book. It helps to take off any remnants of makeup that I might have on, and really does a deep clean for my skin.

Then I follow up with the Bioré Blue Agave & Baking Soda Whipped Nourishing Detox Mask (Please note: Not for sensitive skin consumers or those with sensitives to menthol as it may cause short term flushing of the skin.) Y’all, this is my new favorite thing! After you wash your face, you apply this mask before drying off. It’s important to make sure you use the mask on damp skin! Then, I’ll brush my teeth, or check my phone for a bit. (The mask is also a fun blue color, so you could always snap some fun Instas while you have it on!) You leave it on for 3-5 minutes, and voila! It’s a miracle worker for clogged pores. I tend to get bad pores around my nose area and into my cheeks, and this stuff gets all the gunk out. The mask also doesn’t dry up your skin, and feels great when applied.

After that, I follow up with a really good moisturizer to make sure the moisture’s locked into my skin. Then straight to bed! Another pro tip for y’all- it’s a really good mask to do first thing in the morning. It only takes 3-5 minutes, so you don’t have to wake up extra early for a little skin perk. It feels super refreshing, so I’ve been using it the last few weeks for a little morning pick-me-up. What are your favorite ways to detox? Try out the products and let me know what y’all think!
