Summer Beauty Favorites

AH, finally time for some beauty talk! I feel like lately it’s been all lifestyle and fashion around here, & I’m ready for a good old fashioned makeup chat! Although I get a ton of products sent to me constantly, my actual routine rarely changes. And when it does, I share with y’all! Every few months I love doing these beauty favorite breakdowns, to share the products that I’ve actually integrated into my routine. I’ve been using all of these summer beauty favorites (with the exception of 2) for months on end, so I figured it was time to share! Let’s dive right in. 🙂

Charlotte Tilbury Goddess Clay Mask

You’ll see a bit of a trend here.. I’m slowly but surely hopping on the Charlotte Tilbury train! Ever since hearing a ton of bloggers talk about it, I contemplated buying it for months. Since I do get so many products sent to me, it honestly makes it a bit more difficult for me to justify spending $50+ on skincare/beauty products. However, I’m loving how it makes my skin feel! I use it 2 times a week, and it leaves my skin feeling like a baby’s butt. Can’t rave enough! I’ve also gotten my cousin hooked on it too!

MAC Blush in Prism

I’ve never been a big blush person- I usually only stick to the essentials, and keep my makeup routine as simple as possible. To give me a little color, I’ve been using this MAC blush/bronzer in prism. I suck my cheeks in, and just swipe it right under my cheekbones for a slight contour. Easy peezy!

Drunk Elephant Protini Moisturizer

When I shared that I was in the market for a new moisturizer, I got SO many recommendations for this one. And I’m loving it! It’s just enough richness for the summer, without being too heavy. I use it morning and night, every day.

Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Lashes Mascara Volume II

It took a bit of getting used to, but this mascara makes my lashes look a mile long and I LOVE IT! When you first open it, you have to play with it a bit to get product onto the bristles, but then you’re golden. I’m obsessed with the fan effect it gives my lashes.

COOLA Sun Silk Drops

Since moving to LA, I have been SO adamant about always having SPF on my face before heading out the door. I’ve always heard the dangers of not wearing sunscreen. But to be honest I haven’t really cared enough to work it into my routine until now. Now, I don’t step outside ever without it! I had the pleasure of trying out a few COOLA products over the past few months, and this one is probably my current fave! Their sun silk drops leave your skin feeling moisturized, and it doesn’t smell artificial. It also protects from blue light, in addition to UVA/UVB!

The best part? It’s CLEAN! I’ve been beginning to tap into and research clean beauty, and slowly trying to incorporate clean products into my routine. Did you know everything you put on your skin is absorbed into your bloodstream? When you think about what products you’re using on your face, this is a pretty scary thought. We’re all so careful about what we put in our bodies- it’s important to note what you put on your skin too!

Charlotte Tilbury Matte Lipstick in Pillow Talk

Shared this lipstick on IG stories and y’all seemed to love the color just as much as I do! It’s the perfect nude for my skin tone, and I keep it in my bag with me all day. It’s a bit hard for me to find the perfect nude that’s not too dark/light, and I’m happy to have this one. The color is a lot like MAC’s Velvet Teddy, but a bit more pink and also way more creamy.

Anastasia Soft Glam Palette

Last but not least- my new everyday palette! After using the Anastasia Master Palette by Mario for years (I’ve hit pan on about 80% of the colors) it was time to get a new one. At first glance, this palette was a bit pinky for my taste, but it’s most definitely not as pinky as you’d think. It has all the perfect neutrals to create any look!
