By the beach, near the see, what a wonderful place to be! Oh, what I would give to be back with the sand in my toes again, y’all. But for now, Texas will have to do. As all of you have seen on Instagram, I’ve spent the past week on the beaches in Mexico. Can I just be a beach bum forever? I think I’ve found my dream job. The past few months have been so insane, that all I needed was just a few hours on the beach curled up with a good book. It’s amazing what a little vacay can do for the soul!
It has been a minute since I’ve written on here! I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t struggling a bit to remember how to write. So I guess I’ll just write a little update on how everything is going at the moment! As of right now, I’m in Dallas for the week. I’ll be attending an event at the Preston Road Ulta Beauty on this Saturday, May 19th with Exuviance. If any of you are in town you should most definitely come hang out! We’ll be doing free facials and chatting over some Exuviance products. So fun!
After our trip to Mexico (which you will see more of very soon!) we flew back to Dallas, so I’ve been spending time with Akash and my family. It always feels good to be home, but a bit weird at the same time! Every time I get home, I just snap back into this level of comfort, and it’s always bizarre to remember “wait, I don’t live here anymore.” It’s also strange because the Dallas area is totally blowing up. There are so many new developments springing up all over the place, and my hometown is so different than it was when I was growing up.
As happy as I am to be home, I am super excited to get back to LA! I’m taking this as a great sign, that I’m excited to go back to my new home. It’s feeling more and more like home as the days pass!
