Friday Fives: No. 3

Friday Fives: No. 3

I haven’t done one of these Friday Fives in a while, so I thought it’d be fun to do one today! If you’re new, Friday Fives are basically where I just share 5 favorites every Friday. Pretty simple, right? I’ve found a new favorites, and I’m excited to share them with you!

The Good Place

I started this show on a whim last week, and finished the whole first season in the span of about 3 days. It’s a pretty light hearted show, that touches on the topic of the afterlife. I find it to be pretty fascinating, and even though the show is pretty casual and easy to watch, it’s still thought provoking. It makes you think about what your image of “the good place and the “the bad place” is. Plus, I just love Kristen Bell!

Dialog Cafe

Lately I’ve been frequenting a coffee shop that’s walking distance from my apartment, and it’s quickly become a favorite!

All things COOLA

Of course I had to include a beauty favorite! I discovered this brand a little while ago, and have been LOVING a few items in particular. I’ve been trying to transition a bit into more of a clean beauty regimen, and Coola has been my most recent favorite find. Their BB cream in particular I’m in love with! I’ve also just been loving their body sunscreen. If you’ve seen on IG lately, I have been to the beach so many times in the past month. Sunscreen has become a huge priority in my beauty routine, and Coola is officially a fave!

(Beginning to) Transition into Minimalism

I’ve always been a huge ‘collector.’ When I was into nail polish, I couldn’t just have a few colors- I had to have them all. (I legitimately have a rack full of all the colors of the rainbow in my garage right now.) When I started blogging, it got worse. I wanted to try every beauty product, have every single pair of shoes, and have a billion outfit choices for every occasion. Ever since moving into my new apartment, I have been super into trying to keep as few things as absolutely possible. Starting with my wardrobe! From now on, I’m starting a transition into have fewer pieces that are higher quality, all of which that I LOVE. Gone are the days of buying a million things under $100!

I’m excited to start sharing my journey as I start to minimize the number of ‘things’ in my home. Also with the huge life changes I’ve been going through, I think my style is really beginning to evolve as well. Excited to document it all!

Ocean’s 8

Ending the post on a fun note! Akash & I spent a night this past week going on a little date, which we haven’t had the chance to do in a while. We love watching movies but rarely have the opportunity. Both of us have been wanting to see Ocean’s 8 since the release, and we finally got to go in theaters! It was super good, highly recommend. Definitely making me want to see movies more!
