For those of y’all in the South, Saturdays in the fall mean one thing and one thing only- COLLEGE GAME DAY! I always stress about what to wear, and 80% of the time always find myself scouring every boutique in town for a cute maroon dress or top for game day. If any of y’all are the same way, I’m here to save the day!
I thought it would be fun to put together a few outfit ideas so that y’all could get some inspiration for gamedays, or even just in general! My school’s color is maroon, but if your school has a different color you could always take the pieces I feature and just find something similar in your school’s colors.

I’m a huge fan of the new choker trend, and I found this super cute one at a boutique in my college town. For $40, I think it was a little pricey for a choker, so the link I gave y’all is for a similar one from Forever 21 for only $4. I bought these maroon booties at Old Navy about a year ago, and I wear them basically all throughout fall and winter- it doesn’t hurt that oxblood was a huge trend last year, so I had an excuse to wear them all the time! This off-the-shoulder top is super flattering, too. You can find these almost anywhere right now, so this outfit would be super easy to re-create!
Sidenote in case any of ya’ll buy this top: it’s from Old Navy is made with spaghetti straps, but I liked it a little better without them so I just tucked them under my arm! I’m pretty creative, I know.

This next outfit is a little more southern with a touch of feminine. If you’re anywhere that’s not the South, you’ll probably get some weird looks for wearing boots, but down here in Texas (at least at my school) I’d guess that probably 9/10 people have boots.
As y’all can probably tell, I’m obsessed with off-the-shoulder tops! But I’m not gonna lie, this one made me feel slightly like a cupcake when the wind blew through.
Obviously had to throw in a GIG EM!!! (Can we talk about that win today, please!? 6-0 BABY FIGHT EM AGGIES)

On to the last one!
This one’s relatively simple, but I figured it would be perfect for those of y’all in areas with colder temperatures. Throw on a trench coat and you’ve got yourself a warm and comfy outfit! I’ve been searching for the past two years or so for the perfect pair of above-the-knee boots, and I think I’ve finally found them! They’re made of a suede material, and they also come in black. I think they’re just simple enough, relatively comfortable, and a perfectly chunky heel at just the right height for me. Did I mention they’re only $50?!? ***EDIT: these boots are currently on sale at Target for only $40! Get them before the sale’s over! Link below.*** You heard it right, I found these babies at Target for just $50. I’m actually hoping to go back tomorrow to grab them in the black before they sell out.
