Every Monday, I sit at my desk again and wonder: “How did I end up back here already?” LOL anyone else with me? The weekends always zoom by so quickly! All in all though, I had a great weekend. On Saturday, I pulled my butt to a yoga class (even though I really wasn’t feeling it) but was so happy that I did afterwards. Hot power yoga is slowly but surely becoming addicting! Then, I ran around town for a bunch of errands, and treated myself to some Chipotle for lunch- YUM.

The most exciting thing, though, is I finally pulled myself to book a hair appointment this weekend. 6 inches chopped, and feeling free as a bird! There’s seriously no better feeling that getting a fresh cut, am I right? If you’re in the LA area, go see Tim from Spoke & Weal. The service here was amazing, and I’m obsessed with my new ‘do. So light and refreshing! (Side note: these photos were taken pre-cut!)

Then at around 4, I went to a fun pool party in the Valley with my work friends. The view from this place was amazing, y’all- in case you missed it, it’s in my stories! So much fun.

Sunday was a fun day too! I went to Taste on Melrose for the first time (delish, by the way) and swung by the farmers’ market afterwards. The farmers’ market has become one of my favorite weekend rituals! Afterwards I treated myself to a little manicure. Basically after this weekend, I feel like a whole new person! It’s crazy what a little R&R can do for you. Even though the weekend passed way too fast, I’m back at work today feeling fresh & rejuvenated.

Anyway, onto this look! (PS: I’m sure y’all have been able to tell, but lately I’ve been struggling to decide how to structure blog posts.. I know from looking at the numbers that y’all like personal/life in LA update posts, so I want to include personal details in each post. At the same time, of course I want to share outfit details… so how do I split up my thoughts in between photos?! Maybe y’all don’t even care.. but it’s a struggle nonetheless lol.)

So before I get a billion questions on where this spot is, this flower wall is on the corner of 3rd & The Grove in LA! I took these photos about two weeks ago, but I just drove by yesterday and the flowers are still blooming. So if you’re in LA, definitely swing by!

Finally, this outfit- I love love this dress from Madewell! I think it’s so fun and girly, but perfect for any occasion. It can also be worn so many different ways to create so many different looks. Pair it with a leather jacket to make it more edgy, or a pretty bandana and some heels for a girly look. Y’all know I love versatility! Last week I chatted about these shoes- I told you I’m obsessed! Actually still wearing them at this moment, haha.

Hope you all had an amazing weekend- Saturday marks the first of September, isn’t that crazy?! But, this should be a fun week- I’m heading to an appointment at Facile Skin tomorrow morning.
